BLACKBURN LOCAL NATURE RESERVES
Practical action on nature reserves, wildlife corridors, wildlife gardens, environmental improvements and community food plots. Meets every Wednesday. Conservation Day last Saturday each month, in conjunction with Blackburn & Darwen Council, 10am - 12.

BOLTON BOLTON WILDLIFE PROJECT
Contact: Mick Weston or Kim Paterson (01204) 361847 Protects and manages wildlife sites. Promotes environmental awareness and runs Bolton Environment House.

BOLTON CONSERVATION VOLUNTEERS
Midweek Group Contact Sue on (01204) 361847 Meets every Wednesday & Thursday at 10.00am on the steps of the Central Library. For local volunteers interested in improving the environment for people and wildlife.
Sunday Group Contact: Rick Parker, 07908 084709. Meets at 10.00 am, every other Sunday. No experience needed. Bring packed lunch, boots and waterproofs. (see website www.bcv1.fsnet.co.uk). New volunteers welcome in both groups.

SEVEN ACRES LOCAL NATURE RESERVE
Part of the East Bolton Regeneration project, in partnership with Friends of Seven Acres. Events held throughout Spring and Summer - booking Essential - see above for details.

Volunteer working parties at schools throughout the area , from 10.15am to around 2pm. Transport available to work site,if needed, and tea + biscuits! See above for details - All Welcome

LANCASTER NORTH LANCASHIRE NATURALISTS' GROUP

PRESTON LOCAL NATURE RESERVES
Contact Julie Livesey, on 01772 752445, or email jlivesey@lancswt.org.uk Volunteer with The Wildlife Trust on Local Nature Reserves. Work includes grassland, scrub & woodland management. Work days run from 10am-3pm (you do not have to stay for the whole time). travel expenses paid. Local Nature Reserve sites and work days:- Pope Lane Field & Boilton Wood LNR 1st Thursday of every month Grange Valley LNR 2nd Thursday of every month Fishwick Cluster proposed LNR 3rd Thursday of every month Haslam Park and Brook proposed LNR 4th Thursday of every month.

PRESTWICH CROAL IRWELL GROUP
