outreach programme

The Outreach Programme provides schools and community groups with all activities available at the centre, but at their own premises. The programme so far has included :

Visits to schools throughout the region, delivering environmental education. Working with Red lane Community Garden (Bolton) on workshops, mosaics, minibeast hunts and composting; a day of involvement for the local community.

Collaboration with Bolton Food Growing Project.

Providing community playschemes in Preston and Farrington. Also community activities at the Green Fair in Nelson and Pendle Canals celebration.
