Join us for a fascinating 10 session, monthly course that is ideal for anybody who has an interest in plants.

Limited spaces - pre-booking required.

In partnership with Hilary Bedford from the West Lancashire Wildlife Group this 10 session monthly course consists of indoor theory and some outdoors sessions.

The sessions will cover plant morphology, physiology and adaptations and is suitable for beginners or those with limited experience who have an interest in plants.

This is a 10 session course with a refundable deposit of £50 (£5/session). Participants will be refunded £5/session after attending a session, a non-show will result in a non-refundable £5 deposit/session.

Please note there will also be a Field visit to Gait Barrows in late June (date TBC).

Feb 15 - Plant morphology

Mar 15 - How plants work

Apr 18 - Seeds & germination

May 17 - Flowers

Jul 19 - Plants & habitats

Aug 16 - Field Visit (Barnaby Sands)

Sep 20 - Plant/Animal relationships

Oct 18 - Fruits & Seeds 

Nov 15 - Preparing for the winter
