Seawatch

Event details

Wed, 18/04/2018 - 12:00pm - 2:00pm

Join us on the dunes at Lifeboat Road to look out for marine mammals.

There will be plenty of sea birds to admire and if we are very lucky, we could even see a whale!

Run in partnership with the Sea Watch Foundation, we'll be doing a survey to help us increase our understanding of where whales, dolphins and porpoises can be found in our waters.

There’s no need to be an expert, as we have plenty of species guides to help you spot some amazing animals. Bring binoculars and scopes (if you have them), although we have spare binoculars for those that need them.

Meet us at the noticebord in the south west corner of Lifeboat Road car park and we shall watch from a vantage point on the dunes.

Dress appropriately for the weather and bring a packed lunch.
