There are a number of ways in which you can become a corporate supporter, and your support provides us with valuable resources that enable us to protect your local area, educate local children and brighten the lives of local communities.

Charity Of The Year

Do you nominate a charity to support each year? Why not consider nominating The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside? With over 50 nature reserves in our care, our work to protect significant species, our work with communities and our passion for inspiring and educating children, you are sure to find a cause to support that fits in with the ethics of your business.

Sponsorship

There are a number of sponsorship opportunities available to businesses both large and small.  We have over 18,000 members and we work with groups of all ages across the region in many different ways, giving your business maximum exposure for your investment.

An RBS group of volunteers get tooled upEmployee Schemes

Volunteering benefits staff morale, motivation and commitment. Employees learn new skills, feel a strong sense of personal achievement and develop as team players, whilst having a direct and positive impact on their local environment.

Give As You Earn (GAYE) is an excellent tax-free way of supporting The Wildlife Trusts. This is a system which allows donation to charity directly from salary and gains maximum tax benefit. It is operated through the Pay Roll. The scheme, which is easily established, can help improve internal communications, and generate positive publicity.

Cause Related Marketing

The Wildlife Trusts understand and appreciate the benefits achievable for both wildlife and business by linking your product with our good cause. Research proves the vast majority of consumers are more likely to buy a product associated with a cause (price and quality being equal) and to develop a more positive image of a company.

Donations

Corporate donations, and gifts in kind, play a key part in our work for wildlife. When making a charitable donation, companies can also offset corporation tax, normally paid to Inland Revenue.

Donations can include a multitude of things, all of which are a great benefit:

  • Office furniture
  • Personnel secondment
  • Services - Do you have a public venue which we could use to promote membership or advertise our services?
