Here at The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, we are proud to be one of the UK's leading Wildlife Trusts in community work. We believe working closely with our local communities is vital, we don't just want to preach about sustainable living, we want to teach people new skills, engage them in nature, and give them a sense of pride for their local area.
Growing Together
We run a range of food growing and shared allotment schemes throughout Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside. These schemes not only give people the opportunities to learn how to grow and cook their own food, but also help to improve health and give people the opportunitiy to socialise with others in their area.
Deeply Rooted In The Community
You'd be suprised where you will find The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside. We are in your local school, teaching your children; we are at your local park planting trees and meadows, we are at your local allotment teaching your neighbours to grow vegetables; we are at your local community centre running sessions of all kinds for all ages. We are proud to be a part of your local community, so come and join us!
