Last Chance To Double Your Brockholes Donation

All week we have been receiving doubled donations online for Brockholes. So many of you think our work is important and makes a difference – thank you.

There is a pot of £2,425 remaining and Friday is the last day for online donations to be matched £1 for £1 through The Big Give Christmas Campaign. So if you were thinking of giving, your donation will have double the impact!

The good news... Our conservation efforts at Brockholes are working! Our wildlife is coming back! Breeding bird numbers are increasing every year, it was a wading bird baby bonanza this year on our new scrapes and once again the skies over this bit of Lancashire were ringing to the sound of skylark and redshank. This is how Lancashire should be and we want to share it through our amazing visitor facilities.

The bad news... It's a great start but it's not enough! Our budgets are being squeezed to the limit. We have done what we can to bring Old Lancashire back to life but to reach our dream we must do more. Our wildlife needs more reedbeds, more meadows and more wetland habitats if it is to be safe here forever.

With more money we can achieve our aspirations of so many years ago, the dream of protecting our wildlife and inspiring people. We can bring Old Lancashire, in all its glory, to people who may never have realised that our wildlife is our heritage and it belongs to us all.

If you can support our work at Brockholes, we promise to make your donation stretch as far as possible, starting today by getting it doubled!

Thank you for supporting Lancashire Wildlife Trust when it needs you most. We look forward to welcoming you to the reserve next year and showing you what we have achieved!
