With two large, free council car parks on-site and even more parking nearby, our venue offers convenience and ease of access, situated close to the train and bus stations and just a stone's throw from the town centre.

Welcome to Lunt Meadows, a spectacular wetland nature reserve nestled along the River Alt in North Merseyside, a real destination for bird-lovers and land animals alike. As well as being a nature reserve, Lunt Meadows is a fascinating archaeological site home to one of just a few surviving Mesolithic settlements.

From our regular Nature Tots sessions to seasonal specials, we have plenty of events where families can connect with nature all year round.

There's plenty of events for adults to join in with across the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, from adult-only wildlife walks, to markets and book fairs.

We have plenty of events at our Bolton sites: the Cafe at Moss Bank Park, the Hive at Moss Bank Park and the Cafe at Queens Park.

At the Hive we offer a calendar of events to give families unique opportunities to build lasting connections with nature and to explore the outdoor environment through play.
