About the event

A BioBlitz is defined as an intense period of biological surveying in an attempt to record all the living species within a designated area, over a continuous time period.

We're calling for all wildlife enthusiasts - whether expert or beginner - to help us record the sheer number of plant and animal species that live in this unique habitat. All equipment will be provided but please wear appropriate clothing.

Pay and display parking is available at North Beach Car Park, Clifton Drive North, St Annes, FY8 2TR. It's then a ten minute walk north to the Local Nature Reserve. Please meet us at our base behind the yellow hut on the nature reserve.
