About the event

Led by the Lancashire Peat Partnership team, this relaxed and informative walk will take you through areas of peatland restoration. Along the way, you'll learn how to identify different Sphagnum species - the tiny mosses that help lock up carbon, restore habitats, and keep our moors wet and wild.

We'll chat about the restoration work happening on site, and the importance of healthy peatlands for wildlife and climate.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned moss-spotter, everyone's welcome!
