This workshop is focussed on helping children to understand the important relationship between farming and nature conservation. The children will go on a habitat walk, exploring the different habitats at Mere Sands Wood and the plants and animals that live there (minibeasts/deer/red squirrel/owls/bats/birds/sheep). They will learn about conservation in action, how we look after and manage the habitats and wildlife at the reserve. (The workshop will be adapted and tailored to your school group.)
