In our bushcraft/survival workshops we usually do fire lighting in a safe environment. This involves using a fire steel and lighting a fire. The students also do den building where they work in small groups to make natural shelters using natural materials in the woodland.
We can either run this as a half day session alongside another workshop or as a full day session, depending on what you would like to do. In our full day bushcraft/survival session the children can also play some of our woodland survival games and our staff can light a campfire for the group to toast marshmallows (on request).
