Myplace fun in Avenham Park

The Central Preston group which meets in Avenham Park every week is now 6-months old! To celebrate, Myplace trainee Connor shares some of his favourite moments in pictures.

Let’s take it back to April. The group went over to a site in Penwortham to lend a hand cleaning up the overgrow weeds, twigs and branches. It's safe to say the group did a smashing job. Well done guys!

The group also does a lot of work in Avenham Park itself. From working in the Japanese Rock Garden, to growing plants for the park in the polytunnels, to mindfulness in the nature area, this group does it all! They work alongside Tony who is one of the Park Rangers and Chris from Let’s grow Preston.
