Event details

Thu, 12/07/2018 - 10:00am - 12:00pm

Join us at Rossall Point Observation Tower as we look for seals, porpoises and dolphins passing by.

There will be plenty of sea birds to admire and if we are very lucky, we could even see a whale!

Timed around one of the month’s highest tides, the event is run in partnership with the Sea Watch Foundation. We will be recording our sightings to develop an understanding of where marine mammals can be found in our waters.

There’s no need to be an expert, as we have plenty of species guides to help you spot some amazing animals. Bring binoculars if you have them, although we have plenty of spares.

Please note, the event requires climbing 3 flights of stairs, so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
