Trust Wins Marketing Award!

The Lancashire Wildlife Trust was awarded 'Marketing Campaign of the Year' at the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourism Awards, beating off strong competition from other attractions in the area.

The Award was for the launch campaign of new flagship reserve, Brockholes, located on Junction 31 of the M6.

The winners  were announced at a glittering black-tie event hosted by West End star and Lancashire lass Jodie Prenger, on the evening of Thursday 22 September 2011, at the Paradise Room, Pleasure Beach Resort, Blackpool.

The Trust beat off competition from International brand, Nickelodeon Land, who were highly commended for their extremely successful launch campaign.

Lindsey Poole, Marketing and Communications Manager for the Lancashire Wildlife Trust said: "We are thrilled to win this award. We are a small team, with small budgets and worked hard to make our campaign as creative as possible. In the current climate, getting the most out of every penny we spent was crucial. We worked closely with all partners and funders for Brockholes, who have been a real support and we are now looking forward to a bright future."

Brockholes has recently launched a Christmas campaign, you can find more details here
