Wigan Flashes Local Nature Reserve,
South of Wigan town centre, Wigan, WN3 5UFWe are looking for volunteers to join our weekly practical groups to help us carry out hands-on habitat management and site maintenance tasks.
There's a work party on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10.00am until 4.00pm.
No previous experience is needed just a reasonable level of physical fitness and an eagerness to get stuck in whatever the weather!
We provide the tools, training and personal protective equipment for the tasks and just ask that you wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather and bring a packed lunch.
