make a donation

The Lancashire Wildlife Trust relies on membership subscriptions, donations, grants and legacies to achieve our vision of a sustainable future for wildlife and people; a Lancashire where everyone enjoys a satisfying quality of life, based on a fair share of the world’s resources, without destroying the birthright of future generations.

As an individual, here are the various ways that you can support our work.

Become a Lancashire Wildlife Trust Member
Members make a vital and important contribution to the work of the Trust. We simply could not continue to conserve and restore wild places and protect the wildlife of our beautiful county without the support and commitment of our members.

Our vision of a sustainable future for wildlife and people just would not be possible.

Why not join our membership and add your voice to the growing number of people who are determined to protect Lancashire's endangered wildlife and habitat.

Give as You Earn (GAYE)
Payroll Giving is a simple, tax effective way to give to the Lancashire Wildlife Trust. Under this scheme, you specify a regular donation, which is deducted from your salary each month before tax. This means that a donation of £10 per month would actually cost you just £7.80 at the standard tax rate of 22 per cent.

Increase your donation at no extra cost — Gift Aid It!
If you are a UK tax payer, your donation can be worth even more by signing a Gift Aid Declaration. This means that the Lancashire Wildlife Trust can claim the tax back on your donation at no extra cost to you. A £10 donation can be worth £12.80 simply by signing a form.

Other ways to help us Leave a legacy
Almost everyone wants to be a philanthropist... ...and most of us could be without impacting on our next of kin, simply by leaving a legacy to charity in our wills.

Remembering the Lancashire Wildlife Trust in your Will is such a valuable way to support our work in the years ahead.

A Gift in Memory
Wreaths of flowers are short-lived but our wild flowers can be conserved and protected for generations. Commemorate the life of a loved one or friend in a very special way through a gift in memory.

Donor's Charter
The Donor's Charter is a statement of principle setting out a fundraiser's commitment to donors. It states the standards a donor can expect from fundraisers and organisations before, during and after the processing of the gift, be it a spontaneous donation of loose change or a substantial sum commited over many years. It also sets out the complaints procedure.
