donations
Corporate
donations, and gifts in kind, play a key part in our work for wildlife.
Companies also help wildlife when taking advantage of 'Gift Aid',
to offset corporation tax, normally paid to Inland Revenue. For
example a corporate donation of £7,690, with 'Gift Aid', is worth
£10,000 to The Wildlife Trust and our work. Please Note: Donations
are not subject to VAT, as we do not promote your name or brand.
Gifts
in kind are invaluable and provide an inexpensive way for any company
to give support. Examples of in-kind support are the gift of:
 |
Office furniture |
 |
IT equipment from computer-recycling.co.uk |
 |
Personnel secondment |
 |
Cars |
 |
Health
and safety , First Aid or Management Training |
consultancy
Corporate
partners value our holistic approach to environmental work and our
expertise. As well as direct support for projects and activities,
The Wildlife Trust has worked very closely with corporate partners
to help them deliver business objectives. These include:

 |

Volunteering
benefits staff morale, motivation and commitment. Employees learn
new skills, feel a strong sense of personal achievement, and develop
as team players, whilst having a direct and positive impact on their
local environment.
Give
As You Earn (GAYE) is an excellent tax-free way of supporting The
Wildlife Trusts. The scheme, which is easily established, can help
improve internal communications, and generate positive publicity.
cause
related marketing
The
Wildlife Trusts understand and appreciates the benefits achievable
for both wildlife and business. Research proves the vast majority
of consumers are more likely to buy a product associated with a
cause (price and quality being equal) and to develop a more positive
image of a company.
