We need your help at the Trust's

headquarters at Cuerden Valley Park

Built with environmental principles in mind, The Barn, which houses our offices and visitor centre, has been open since October 2003. Attracting people to our new visitor centre is a major priority and we are committed to enhancing every visitor's stay in the park.

Do you enjoy meeting new people and providing information and help?

Could you spare a few hours a week to staff our visitor centre or help out with events?

Like all organisations, we need good people to staff our support systems, including membership and finance. If you could spare us a little time, we'll teach you how to operate some of our systems and you can become a valued volunteer!

Would you like to help out with the ranger service undertaking practical work on a variety of tasks?

If so please fill in the form below for further information or contact Kate Jackson on 01772 324129 or email volunteering@lancswt.org.uk and get involved.

Travel back in time to the Victorian age!

As part of our education programme, school groups experience life as a Victorian by participating in a day spent undertaking a series of jobs around the estate. They work as gardeners, scullery maids, charcoal burners and meet the gamekeeper. After their day of work they are invited by "Mrs Katherine Townley Parker" to apply for one of the jobs on the park.

So could you dress up as a Victorian and enjoy working with children?

Do you have skills in dressmaking and prop design?

Perhaps you have some gardening experience?

If so please contact Sarah Deakin for the Victorians programme on 01772 751110
