Beaverbrooks The Jewellers

Halite have been members of the Trust since 2003 and have in the past supported our Christmas Carol Concerts at Blackburn Cathedral, and made a donation towards the cost of our Wildlife of Lancashire book. Acknowledging our comments on conservation issues relating to their recent planning applications Halite have been impressed at our professionalism and attitude and continue to offer their support. Hanson Cement Ltd

Hanson Cement (formerly Castle Cement) joined our list of supporters in 2003 and have actively engaged with us since on a variety of projects including National Insect Week, Chatburn Wildife Garden and our work at Salthill and Cross Hill Quarries. They also hosted a visit by Kate Humble as part of Quarrywatch and children from Chatburn Primary School were able to meet the TV star in person when she joined in their pond dipping activities. Liverpool Mutual Homes

Liverpool Mutual Homes were formed in April 2008 after they took over ownership of Liverpool City Council’s last 15,000 homes. With the transfer of ownership came £380 million investment to bring the homes up to modern standards over a five year period. This included new doors, windows, central heating , kitchens and bathrooms. LMH is unique in terms of it being a tenant lead housing association with the majority of its board members being LMH tenants. LMH are also about investing in the neighbourhoods across the city where we manage homes to make them greener, pleasant and sustainable for current and future generations. Visit their website

New to our supporters' list in 2008, Pierce have been wholehearted in their support, hosting a business breakfast seminar, providing gifts at Christmas for our Penwortham Environmental Education Centre and setting up a photographic exhibition based on Lancashire Wildlife Trust reserves for participation by staff and their families. RBS have been supporters of us for many years, while various teams have been involved in corporate work party days at both Seven Acres and Doffcocker Lodge Local Nature Reserves in Bolton. Visit their website

 

Sita (Lancashire) Ltd

Tarmac (Central) Ltd

Tarmac have supported us both with their corporate subscription and in kind donation of aggregate for footpaths at our Cross Hill Quarry Nature Reserve in Clitheroe.  The Trust works closely with Tarmac advising on conservation issues relating to sand and aggregate extraction sites.
