Visitor Engagement & Social Media Coordinator
This new and exciting role within our commercial department will combine our existing nature focused marketing and communications with a stronger commercial focus. While nature will always be at the heart of this role, the postholder's principle aim will be income and engagement, helping to bring new people to our sites and encouraging existing visitors to return.
We’re looking for a creative, outgoing person to help promote our visitor centres, cafés, events and wedding venues, highlighting what conservation work is happening at each site and where relevant, promote membership and appeal campaigns from our central office team.
This is a hands on role for someone who can capture great content, respond to trends and tell the story through naturally engaging posts of how visiting our reserves supports wildlife. You’ll need to be confident in front of and behind the camera and know how to use social media to inspire visits and grow audiences.
The role will be based mainly at Brockholes Nature Reserve, our award-winning floating visitor village, but will also support other sites and their teams in the surrounding areas such as Bolton and Rufford.
In return, we offer 28 days holidays, plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service. A friendly and flexible working environment with the chance to be a part of the largest nature conservation body in the area, working together to improve our region for nature as well as engaging and inspiring people to connect and take action for wildlife.
