South Lancashire Reserves Practical Conservation Volunteers

Location:
Various, Nature Reserves in South Lancashire

Longworth Clough woodland by Laura Cronin

We are looking for volunteers to join our weekly practical group to help us carry out hands-on habitat management and site maintenance tasks.

We carry out practical work on sites in South Lancashire (including Longworth Clough Nature Reserve near Egerton and Boilton Woods in Preston) on a Tuesday between 10.30am and 3.30pm every week. We are looking for individuals who have access to a car and will enjoy volunteering at different sites.

No previous experience is needed just a reasonable level of physical fitness and an eagerness to get stuck in whatever the weather!

We provide the tools, training and personal protective equipment for the tasks and just ask that you bring your own lunch, wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
