Event details

Thu, 30/11/2017 - 10:00am - 2:00pm

Come and join us and Manchester City of Trees to plant some new tree whips across a former colliery site. Get your wellies and gloves on and get outside, helping trees to thrive over the winter period to come!

This event is led by our partners Manchester City of Trees, and will involve community planting of new sapling trees of a range of species, to help improve wildlife habitats on a former coal mine.

We will be re-visiting a previous planting site to re-plant any damage or dead trees whilst giving the site a bit of a tidy up.

Anyone is welcome and all tools and equipment will be provided as well as hot refreshments.

Contact andy@cityoftrees.org.uk or hjeffreson@lancswt.org.uk for more details.
