The Wyre team from The Bay: A blueprint for recovery have secured £5000 of funding from an NHS Cost of Living Grant through Wyre Council.

The funding will be used to teach people how to cook simple meals, grow their own food, forage and look after their wellbeing, all to help combat the effects of the current cost of living crisis.

Two videos are also being produced as part of this to create a lasting resource to teach people about how to forage food in a safe and sustainable way, both on the coast and in woodland.

The outdoor cooking sessions are now full, but if you'd like to join the other Nature and Wellbeing sessions available from both Lancashire Wildlife Trust and The Bay, please fill out a referral form.
