Brockholes Conservation Volunteer (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday)

Brockholes Nature Reserve currently has opportunities for Conservation Volunteers to join our weekly practical Conservation Teams, carrying out habitat management and estate tasks in accordance with the reserve’s Conservation Management Plan. Our conservation teams assist in maintaining and creating habitats for wildlife, and in repairing and modifying reserve infrastructure.

Our Conservation Teams meet every week on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from starting at 10.00am and finishing around 3.30pm. The teams continue to meet all year round, during the school holidays and whatever the weather!

Your role as a Conservation Volunteer will be to assist in maintaining and creating habitats for wildlife, and in undertaking practical tasks to repair and modify reserve infrastructure. You will form part of team of committed and enthusiastic volunteers who deliver high quality practical work on the reserve, under the direction of the Reserve Assistant and Reserve Officer.
