Event details

Thu, 15/02/2018 - 10:00am - 3:00pm

Come and learn about the marine life at Morecambe Bay, digging in the mud and splashing in the water. We'll watch how cockles burrow into the ground and learn how mussels feed.

Come along and learn about the incredible creatures that live in our rockpools and buried under the sand and mud around Morecambe Bay and beneath the waves of the Irish Sea. An interactive workshop to watch how cockles burrow into the sand and get up close and personal to barnacles and mussels feeding under the microscope.
