Bolton Environmental Resource Centre sits on the edge of Seven Acres Local Nature Reserve, making it a fantastic setting for children to explore the natural world. There is an array of habitats to explore, including wildflower meadows, heathland, hedgerows, wetlands, woodland and Bradshaw Brook running through.

Brockholes is perfectly placed to deliver educational visits for schools, colleges and universities across the region. There is a wide variety of outdoor settings for your group, including multiple outdoor classrooms and a purpose-built pond dipping area.

The Hive is located in Bolton’s iconic Moss Bank Park and offers a unique outdoor experience for visiting school groups. The Hive is made up of a series of gardens adorned with natural play equipment.
