About the event

This is an opportunity for visitors of all ages to roll up their sleeves and enjoy a spot of pond dipping! Discover what lives below the watery depths of the pond.

The sessions are just for fun and no previous knowledge is required.

Pond dipping sessions are 45 minutes long and start from 10.00am. Sessions will start on time, so please arrive promptly at the dipping platform area (see map here) to enable our staff to brief the groups so you learn how to dip safely and identify your finds.

Everyone going onto the pond dipping platform needs a ticket regardless of age (all adults and all children except for children under 1). Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (with a ticket). Places on our bridge are limited to ticket holders only.

Please note you will be required to share equipment with other people in the group.

Please come dressed for the weather wearing sturdy footwear. If it rains the session will still go ahead!
