£1 to repair nature this Christmas

£1 to repair nature this Christmas

By giving just £1, you can protect the fragile places that wildlife needs to survive.

And right now thanks to another generous donor, your donation will be DOUBLED.

Give £1

Here is the difficult reality - a warm, safe nest offers comfort, but it cannot protect little robins when an entire habitat is under threat.

At your local nature reserve, we’re seeing what happens when chaotic weather patterns meet industrial pollution. Reed warblers return to find their nesting sites flooded by erratic rainfall. Water voles struggle as invasive species overwhelm their habitat. Even common animals face uncommon threats.

This is the result of systems that treat our landscapes as resources to exploit. For centuries, big corporations drained wetlands for factories and fragmented woodlands with bulldozers and concrete. They valued efficiency over wildlife.

The animals paying the price had no choice in those decisions.

But you do have a choice. And you can make it now.

Rather than treating symptoms, you can address the root cause of this crisis. You can be a part of restoring entire habitats.

All you need to do is give £1.

This Christmas, even a single pound says "I am repairing the human damage done to the natural world".

Your donation will enable us to: Maintain hedgerows to provide shelter; check and repair bird and bat boxes; refill and maintain bird feeders; provide supplementary food for birds and small mammals; conduct wildlife surveys; track signs of disease; provide safe spots for hibernation and roosting; and maintain safe footpaths, boardwalks and hides to avoid habitat disturbance.

Your gift goes toward richer habitats - ones you can come and see, feel and hear for yourself.

That's real impact.

Every £1 will make a genuine difference for wildlife this winter. If you are able to spare more than £1, your impact will be even bigger. Here's an idea of what your generous donations can do:
