How was that for a February? A spell of unseasonably warm and sunny weather has given spring a bit of a kick up the bum, so what has been seen at our reserves and local sites?
February brought with it the promise of spring, offering a generous scattering of warm bright days and big blue skies but still with all the freshness of winter upon the air.
What a month. Storms Dennis and Ciara caused chaos across our region and Brockholes Nature Reserve was hit by flooding. Thankfully there was still plenty of wildlife to brighten up the month.
