About the event

On this walk we will take you through Seven Acres LNR, finding and talking about some of our best autumnal wild foods and how best to use them.

Foraging for wild foods can be daunting, and caution should always be used as there are some nasties out there you definitely wouldn't want to be making jam with!  However, it is also a great way to connect with nature, slow down and appreciate our wild plants in a whole new light.

In Autumn our green spaces are exploding with tasty treats, so it's a great time to get out and learn what plants you should be making the most of.

This walk will be two hours, starting and finishing from the car park outside the ERC on Bury Road. There is extra parking available on Thicketford Road.

Please bring sturdy footwear and feel free to take notes as we go along!
