About the event

Join us and spend time outdoors at Heysham Nature Reserve to learn about the life of a butterfly. Take a stroll with us to see which butterflies are on the wing and learn how important it is to record them. You will have an opportunity to count with us or take Butterfly Conservation resources home to do it there.

Equipment is provided and all you will have to do is come prepared for the weathers. However, if the weather is less than suitable for butterflies, we might have to reschedule the event if possible.

Please note: This session takes place in an outdoor location on the reserve and around the reserve, so we advise bringing suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for the weather conditions. Supervision of children is always required. Toilet facilities are available.
