About the event

Join us at the Learning Centre at Lunt Meadows for an exciting talk about barn owls, featuring a meet and greet with a captive-bred owl.

Our passionate barn owl expert will teach you all about barn owls, their abilities and behaviour, plus answer any questions you have about these wonderful birds. You will have an opportunity to hold the owl (on a glove) and watch them fly around the classroom.

This event will take place Tuesday 6pm - 7.30pm.

Please note that this is not a wild owl, it is captive, with all the relevant documentation from DEFRA and the independent bird register. The owner has permission from LWT to bring a captive owl to the Learning Centre. It will not be flying on the nature reserve, as per the operational procedures of the Trust.
