About the event

As a part of our new Championing Nature Project we are running FREE training for anyone wanting to learn more about conservation and how they can give back to their environment.

This event will be theory focused, learning about invasive species including what this means, the effect they have on the environment, how to identify some common UK invasives and best practice for controlling or removing them. This course is for ages 16+ and entry level.

To complete this course and receive an accreditation certificate from AQA you must put your knowledge into practice by joining one of our Wythenshawe based practical volunteering days in Invasive Species Management within the next 3 months. The next scheduled session is Wednesday 26th November at Blackcarr Woods, book here

Join our Wythenshawe mailing list to be notified as soon as new training and volunteering dates are posted.

Please book your FREE space below to ensure we have the right amount of space and staff. We understand that plans change, so let us know in advance if you cannot make it.
