We are seeking a communications specialist to highlight the pioneering work that is being done to protect the UK's population of red squirrels and enhance red squirrel habitat across the North of England and South of Scotland.
Our communications officer must be passionate about nature conservation, willing to travel and meet some of the amazing staff and volunteers working with red squirrels, and then tell their stories.
The officer must be engaging, a superb writer and speaker and keen to use social media to get our message out across the project area and beyond. They will lead a campaign that will raise the profile of the vitally important work of the Red Squirrel Recovery Network.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering innovative action that will receive national recognition, as well as helping and protecting our native red squirrels.
We offer 28 days holiday plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service.
