Director of Engagement and Empowerment

As the Director of Engagement and Empowerment you will lead our work to help people to connect with nature and to inspire action for wildlife across Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside.
We are seeking a visionary leader who can influence teams and shape and deliver our Engagement and Empowerment strategy both internally and externally and who can embed collaboration, diversity and inclusion across everything we do.
You will be responsible for securing the financial resources needed to achieve our objectives, overseeing budgets, guiding grant fundraising and leading major projects to ensure maximum impact and reach.
We’re looking for an accomplished leader with:
- Proven success delivering large scale programmes and partnerships
- Experience influencing at a strategic level and building impactful partnerships
- Deep understanding of community engagement, environmental education, nature and wellbeing and volunteering
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
Please note a full driving licence and access to a car with business use insurance is essential, as travel around the region will be required.
