GMET Grants Officer
The Greater Manchester Environment Trust (GMET) is excited to be recruiting a full time Grants Officer to join our small team. The GMET is managed by Lancashire Wildlife Trust and funded by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA).
The GMET manage and administer two grant programmes: the Green Spaces Fund and the Renew Community Fund, and are seeking an experienced Grants Officer to support the delivery of these programmes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an environmental charity that is helping to channel green finance back into Greater Manchester and increase the number of nature based projects that are having such a powerful and positive impact on the region.
We are looking for a motivated, personable and organised individual who can work well in a small team, support the business needs, and help us make Greater Manchester greener. If you are passionate about helping nature thrive and have grant management experience this may the role for you.
The role is hybrid, however, the successful candidate will need to be based within easy access of Manchester city centre to work from our funder’s office and attend organisation events.
In return we offer 28 days holidays, plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service.
