We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nature Reserves Development Manager with a passion for wildlife to lead the delivery of nature recovery across our reserve network.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and inspiring team leader with a strong proven background working in land management, conservation and nature recovery.                        

You will be responsible for leading and supporting teams to work closely with neighbouring landowners and managers to increase the effective reserve size of our land holdings and to identify and deliver novel approaches to habitat management, including species reintroductions and restoring natural processes.  A key part of the role will be developing and embedding the processes and systems required to safely and effectively manage our diverse set of reserves, to ensure legal compliance.

You will work as part of a team to secure funding and generate income for our nature reserves by supporting grant applications, developing project ideas, and identifying new opportunities. 

This exciting and varied position requires someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide variety of people. A flexible approach to working hours is essential as some evenings and weekend work will be required to meet the needs of the organisation.
