We are seeking an ambitious, strategic and visionary leader to join our Senior Management Team as the new Director of Development & Income Generation.

The Director of Development & Income Generation will play a central role in ensuring LWT has the resources, reputation, and reach to drive forward our mission to protect and restore nature across the region.

In this pivotal role you will ensure that we have the right fundraising systems, processes, and policies in place, whilst working with the leadership team to foster a fundraising culture and convert opportunities into tangible outcomes.

You will lead an ambitious and talented team in developing innovative fundraising strategies to strengthen our brand, communications and advocacy to help widen our reach. From high-value fundraising and donor engagement to Green Finance, Membership, Marketing and PR, your work will amplify our voice and deepen our connection with communities and stakeholders.

This is an exciting and high-impact opportunity for someone with the passion, motivation, and vision to inspire teams and lead from the front. 

We’re looking for a proven leader with:

  • Significant senior-level experience in income generation, fundraising, or stakeholder engagement.
  • A strong background in marketing, brand, or communications leadership.
  • Exceptional people management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • A creative, strategic mindset with the confidence to drive innovation and change.

Please note a full clean driving licence and access to a car with business use insurance is essential, as travel around the region will be required.
