About the event

See behind the scenes at Lunt Meadows Nature Reserve with a guided tour of our dry grassland meadows, learning about the plants within, why habitats like these are so important and how you can have a go at making your own wildflower patch at home.

After the walk you will be able to enjoy a bee-themed afternoon tea, designed and catered by Sunshine Tearooms. This will be a lovely chance to see parts of the reserve normally off limits to the public and enjoy some delicious food, provided by Sunshine Tearooms.

Please note that the walk will be through long vegetation and uneven ground, so good sturdy outdoor footwear is needed and long trousers are advised.
