About the event

Get hands-on helping to improve the woodland at Blackcarr Woods for nature. We will be getting stuck into clearing some of the invasive plant species in the woods such as rhododendron and snowberry using hand tools. You will learn how these actions support your local wildlife and have the opportunity to spend time outdoors with members of your local community.

Please note that you must be over 18 to join this session. All abilities welcome and no experience is necessary.

Please ensure that you cancel your place if you can not attend to allow someone else to come along.

The session will still run in mild rain/bad weather, but we will contact you the day before if the weather forecast is too bad to be able to safely go ahead.
