About the event

As a part of our new Championing Nature Project, we are running FREE training for anyone wanting to learn more about conservation and how they can give back to their environment.

This event will be theory focused, learning about woodland conservation including what this means, why it is important, how to identify some common species and woodland types, and some of the management practices we can do to help like woodland thinning. This course is for ages 16+ and entry level.

To complete this course and receive an accreditation certificate from AQA you must put your knowledge into practice by joining one of our Wythenshawe based practical volunteering days in Woodland Management or Scrub Clearance within the next 3 months.

More volunteer dates to be scheduled for December and January soon, join our Wythenshawe mailing list to be notified as soon as new training and volunteering dates are posted.

Please book your FREE space below to ensure we have the right amount of space and staff. We understand that plans change, so let us know in advance if you cannot make it.
