About the event
Join us for a guided walk through our reserve spotting birds, wildflowers, insects and more! We will stop to look for wildlife at various points.
As it is the global City Nature Challenge weekend we will be recording all the wildlife we find using the iNaturalist app. Please download the app before the event if you would like to use it. To find out more about the City Nature Challenge click here.
Please meet at our Learning Centre. Sunshine Tearooms will be open if you would like to purchase refreshments.
The walk will be around 2 hours long so we would recommend for any children attending that they be aged 8+. If you have younger children and would prefer a shorter walk please book onto our Wildlife Wander. Our paths are uneven and can be muddy so are unfortunately not suitable for prams and wheelchairs.
Please come dressed for the weather conditions, including sturdy footwear.
This is a free event (donations are welcome), please book a ticket online before the event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Car parking charges apply.
