Our floating visitor village at Brockholes will spring to life this Easter with a jam packed schedule of daily activities to keep the whole family entertained. Spring is a wonderful time to explore our flagship nature reserve with wildflowers coming into bloom and wildlife pairing up for the nesting season. It can be one of the best times of year for wildlife sightings across the reserve whether you choose to explore it at your leisure or by joining one of our guided walks.
Easter at Brockholes will take place from the 28th March to the 12th April with daily spring themed craft sessions, clubs and workshops allowing you to get creative or try something new. Try your hand at orienteering with our ever popular Xplorer challenge and don't forget that the kids can go on their own adventure in our huge outdoor playground!
Join us for a spellbinding Easter magic show with interactive entertainment for the whole family, balloon modelling and more. Or why not join one of our special Easter guests for a story or two!
Our artisan markets will also return this Easter with an inspiring selection of stalls including crafts, jewellery, ceramics, dried flowers and more. Perfect for looking for spring themed decorations and lovely hand made gifts.
Step onto our floating visitor village surrounded by stunning lake views and wildlife for an exciting live magic show followed by balloon fun and interactive games. Children will then get the opportunity to continue on their own adventure around the reserve with the Xplorer challenge nature trail!

Join the Mad Hatter at Brockholes for an Easter story time! Little ones will love his silly stories and there will be plenty of opportunity for photos so that you can savour the magical memories. Tickets include a chocolate bunny for every child!
11am & 1pm on Saturday 4th April
Join the Easter bunny for a very special story time at Brockholes! Come along and enjoy a story or two from our very special guest. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos with the Easter bunny during the session and each child will receive a chocolate bunny!
11am on Sunday 5th April
We want to see you get creative as possible with your Easter bonnets for this special party with the Easter bunny! There will be a special prize for the best costume so go as crazy as you like. Join us for a high-energy afternoon of interactive games, music, activities and more.
1pm to 3pm on Sunday 5th April
No matter the weather over the school holidays, we've got you covered at Brockholes with daily crafts, clubs and workshops in our visitor centre. Choose from a range of free craft sessions and clubs to paid workshops which include an activity kit and refreshments whilst you create, dig, build or experiment!

Bring the whole family on this gentle guided walk around Brockholes designed with little legs in mind. There will be plenty of stops along the way to look and learn about the various spring blooms and wildlife. Our knowledgeable guide will be able to answer any questions you may have along the way. Our family friendly reserve tour is free of charge but book your place to avoid disappointment!

Put your orienteering skills to the test in the Easter Xplorer challenge! Find the markers around the reserve to complete the challenge. Xplorer challenge will be available daily over the Easter holidays, collect your packs from our welcome centre.
