About the event

Poaching, habitat destruction, persecution (e.g. badgers, bats, birds of prey), use of illegal methods (traps, snares & poisons) and more: Jon Wright of Lancashire Constabulary's West Rural Task Force will talk about the national wildlife crime priorities and local wildlife crime issues around Lancaster, Morecambe and Over Wyre and some success stories from the division.

We are a friendly, local group of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust who meet throughout the year to share our interest in the natural world. Our wildlife talks are held in the Church of the Ascension hall, Michaelson Avenue, Torrisholme, LA4 6RH at 7.30pm on the second Friday of every month from September to March. Anyone who enjoys nature is welcome. Entry is £3 (includes free refreshments)
