After a brief introduction we will be led around taking in grassland, ponds and reedbeds, wooded areas, the lake and the growing areas.

The slag tips and nearby saltmarsh contain a rich variety of wildflowers and butterflies & many other insects. Binoculars useful for birds.

An important site for moths & bats (using bat detectors). Bring warm clothes & torches. There will be little walking. Leave any time.
