About the event

Come and celebrate our indoor fruit trees in blossom at The Greenhouse Project in Witton Country Park, Blackburn.

Inspired by the blossom of our apricot, peach and nectarine trees local artist Fern Nicholas will show you how to create your own unique wire gemstone tree through a simple wire wrapping technique.  She will also explain the healing properties of gemstones.  This workshop will suit beginner crafters.

Expect a calm, welcoming atmosphere where you can slow down, work with your hands, and reconnect with nature through crafting.

Fern is a neurodivergent multidisciplinary artist and mother living and working from Blackburn, Lancashire. With a strong passion for nature, art and mental health she loves to create, learn and share skills.

If necessary please bring along reading glasses for small objects – we are going to be threading small beads onto wire. Gloves can be used, if preferred, but are not essential.
