Event details
About the event
Follow along with local artist Ian Halawi and learn how to bind your own notebooks using this traditional Japanese stab binding method. The types of binding you’ll learn will be Yotsume Toji 4 hole bind, Koki Toji noble bind and finally Asa-No-Ha Toji Hemp leaf bind. You’ll also personalise your notebooks with stamps, choosing the cover colour and thread. At the end of the workshop you’ll leave with three personalised notebooks.
