Marvellous Minibeasts & Incredible Insects (on the coast)

Join us on a minibeast adventure in the sand dunes as we use bug hunting equipment to find the many mini creatures that call the dunes home.

Dunes opposite Glendower Hotel (FY8 2NQ). Once parked, please make your way on to the dunes to the North of the car park - in the direction of the toilet block but closer to the road (opposite the Glendower Hotel). Look for our Project flag and gazebo!Date

About the event
Join us for a fun-filled family adventure as we explore the sand dunes in search of the fascinating minibeasts that call this wild space home. Armed with bug-hunting kits, you'll work together to uncover all sorts of tiny creatures hiding in the undergrowth like scurrying insects, busy beetles and hidden hoppers!
Perfect for children and grown-ups alike, this hands-on experience is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, learn about nature and spend quality time together. Who knows what you'll discover? Come along and find out – the dunes are full of surprises!

FREE to you - Our events are subsidised by our funders (Environment Agency). However, donations to the Wildlife Trust/Fylde Sand Dunes Project are always gratefully received in order for us to keep running our wonderful events free-of-charge.Additional booking information
Please bring suitable clothing and footwear for the beach/sand dunes.There are public toilets on-site that require 40p to access to please bring a couple of 20 pence pieces with you should you wish to use the toilet facilities.
If you can no longer make this event after booking, please "refund" your ticket(s) so they can be released for others to book.
