About the event

Join us for a walk on our reserve led by the Museum of Liverpool’s Honorary Curator of Prehistoric Archaeology Ron Cowell and learn more about the Stone Age history at Lunt Meadows. During the walk, Ron will talk about what life was like during the Middle Stone Age, the 9000 year old discoveries we have made at Lunt Meadows so far, and the importance of nature and the solstice to our ancestors.

This walk is suitable for all ages- bring the whole family along! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Our paths are uneven and can be muddy so are unfortunately not suitable for prams and wheelchairs.

Please come dressed for the weather conditions, including sturdy footwear. Car parking charges apply.
